“Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart. ”
Volunteers are the driving force behind Idaho Falls Area Habitat for Humanity. We are grateful to those dedicated people who contribute a day, a week, a few months, and, in some cases, years to give Habitat’s vision a tangible form.
Whatever your talents, we have a place for you to serve. From swinging a hammer on a build site, to greeting neighbors at the ReStore, to organizing events, fundraising, or office support, to shaping our mission through board and committee leadership—your contribution brings us closer to our vision.

You do not! There are trained staff and volunteers on site to help you through every task. All we need is your heart for help and the hunger to learn.
We know you want to be as safe as you can be and sometimes, that means you need to know what to expect before coming on site. There are many different tasks at the build site and in the ReStore. There will always be training and supervision available.

Younger volunteers may also be able to help in the ReStore.
A separate waiver, signed by a parent or guardian, is required for anyone under 18.For questions, please email office@idahofallshabitat.org.
